Day 16:  I am thankful for our Bible Study group. Back when we were first married, within two weeks of going to our new church we were plugged into a newly married group. We stayed with them for 3 years, learned so much and made really good friends, Tom, Connie, Lance, Heidi, Pratt, Nicole, Mike, Katie, Lewis, and Jamie. Now most of us have gone on to the same home group and that group is starting to become family too (and Kyle and Jana are there as well). I am thankful for the family atmosphere, the fun, and the dear friends. Our group is so big, now, that we had to split it up in order to do 'Supper for 6', which is just dinner with 6 or 8 of us. Tony and Sarah hosted Sky, Cortni, Ann, Heidi, and us. It was nice to be able to get to know them better.

Day 17:  I am thankful for our health and the ability to have health insurance. God has been so good to us.

Day 18:  I am thankful for a quiet evening at our peaceful home. The rest is nice as well as not having to rush off and do something or go anywhere. Dinner turned out delicious, chipolte chicken with sweet potatoes and rice. I saw this video (the link below) on a friend's face book page and it touched me incredibly, especially since this is about a people in Indonesia who finally got the Bible in their language. Not to mention that it gives a face/meaning for why my friend is in another country; so that she can learn a language and develop a written form of it, opening the door for others to come behind and translate the scriptures into that language. It's powerful perspective on why bible translation is important!
