Day 15: I am thankful for how God's agenda supersedes mine and for the ability to recognize that He is bringing opportunities to use me to minister to someone else. This was a lesson that I had learned in Little Rock and became quite flexible in adapting my schedule and plans to the ones that God gave me instead. Nowadays it either seems more subtle or I am not paying attention to the changes in my plan that come about and seeing them for the inherent opportunities.

It is my firm belief that God brings people to us and across our paths in a unique way every day with the intent to be a blessing and to show God's love to a hurting world. I want to hold my plans loosely and be aware of opportunities that come and be flexible to adapt to His plan. Interestingly, when I do recognize opportunities, whether to be genuinely interested in the clerk's day, able to help with business advice, answer questions about God or to give a hug, everything that I have on my agenda somehow still gets done.

Today is not just a reminder to be thankful but to also be flexible and available.
