Day 12: I am thankful for the missionaries that we support. Ian and Jenn are such a blessing to the people in Swaziland and God has made such an impact through them. I am so thankful I was able to go visit them this summer and see first hand what life is like there. They thoroughly enjoy their new roles of Mkhulu (Grandfather) Ian and Gogo (Grandmother) Jenn. Here they are cuddling their two newest 'grandbabies', Constance and Nkosikhano. I just love this picture of them!
Day 13: I am thankful for a clean house to start the week off on a good foot. I find that I am much calmer when I have a clean house and enjoy coming home much more. The unfortunate thing is that the maid doesn't always come when she's supposed to and the house suffers. Now the question remains, is it time to switch out the closet to the winter clothes or will it warm up again?
We had a nice date today; walked around Tempe Market Place and then sat in front of the fire. It was cool enough for a light sweater and to be very enjoyable. I love dates with my hubby!
Another friend that we support is Valerie. She is in Indonesia going to language school. In the next couple of years she will be going into a tribal village with the goal of learning the spoken language and transforming it into a written language.
Indonesia is also on my list of places to visit at some point. Valerie is such a dear friend.
I am thankful that they are on the ground sharing Jesus, on our behalf, to the precious people in each country. Through hearing their stories and especially visiting Africa (as well as Honduras and Mexico in years prior), I have become much more aware of the needs in other countries. God has given me such a heart for missions, and I know that we are supposed to be senders, while still ministering to people here.
