The family threw me a New York style party for my birthday. The food, games, and decorations were all New York-y and there were prizes for the best NY outfit.
Janelle even joined us over Skype. She was our costume judge.

Brandon and Gram had the best costumes. Brandon was a Mafia king/lord (whatever you call them) and Gram was a lost tourist on her way to the Kentucky Derby.

Kyle and Jana went to town taking pictures. The pictures are hysterical, unfortunately the tripod was set up in such a way that this is the most we ever see of Kyle.

Thanks everyone for celebrating with me and for all the laughs. It was the best way to start a new decade.
