I blinked once, maybe twice and July just disappeared. Poof! Gone! Happy August and there are just two more weeks of 'summer', break that is, summer here will continue for several more months.
My hubby will be having a birthday later this month so I thought that there would be no better time to work on goal #90 Write a My Hubby Rocks (MHR) post every Friday for a Month. I had stumbled across Katy Lin's post about how she wanted to make her marriage different from what is seen in the world around us-to portray her marriage in a positive light, to respect her husband and to encourage others as well.
I definitely like this attitude and want to portray my marriage in the same light and hope that our marriage would be a beautiful example that would point others to God.
My Hubby Rocks-Part 1
Jeremy is such a dedicated, hard-working, sacrificing student willing to persevere through hours and hours of studying every day in a difficult degree program. He is willing to endure many tough classes and unfair teachers with little complaint. The effort that he puts into doing his best is amazing and I know that it will pay off when he is done with school and is working. School isn't the thing that Jeremy would want to spend his waking hours on per say, but he gets up each day and hits the books, knowing that all this hard work will open many opportunities for him later. He keeps a good attitude despite the several setbacks over the course of his study and having to give up other things that he would prefer to do. Jer desires to get a good grade and does his best in every class to get the best grade that he can and looks forward to the opportunities that will be there at the end of school. The business of school has never been an excuse to brush me off or not take care of car maintenance or other things I need help with, that he can do.
Jeremy has so many tried and true qualities proven daily in his studies that will be a boon to him (and his employer) in his future employment. I pray that God would continue to bless Jeremy in his studies and career path. Here's to the last year of school, Hubs!
