Seven years ago yesterday, I was sitting in our living room in Little Rock and trying to watch a movie with my roommate while waiting for a phone call that would change my life. Jeremy was over at my parents house for dinner to ask them for their permission to court me. 4 incredibly long hours later, my dad finally called to let me know that Jeremy had indeed asked and they said yes (early in the conversation!), but he wanted to call and let me know because he was heading to bed. Another hour or so went by before Jeremy called me and we officially began courting via long distance.  He had taken me out to dinner the week before and asked me, but I told him he needed to ask my parents before I would say yes:-). I can honestly say that the last seven years has been the best years thus far and I love being Jeremy's other half.  A nice dinner at Outback Steakhouse was in order to celebrate. We go together so well just like cookies and milk!
