Alicia and I went to the English Rose Tea Room in Carefree on Friday. It was so much fun! The drive was really nice out to Carefree, lots of beautiful desert scenery. The tea room was beautiful, lots of pictures, china, flowers and cute tables to sit 2-4. When we first walked in there was a cardboard cutout of Queen Elizabeth and of course we had to get a picture with Her Majesty (the three of us share a birthday).

All the guests were invited to pick out a hat to wear during our tea, which we promptly did. We were pampered with the Duchess of Bedford's Formal Afternoon tea that had tea sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream, petit fours, and a lovely pot of English Rose tea. Everything was delicious and delightful. This is definitely a 'come back again' place that I would recommend.

When I came home and was describing our wonderful afternoon and how the guys (Jer and Andy) should take us there next year for our birthday(s), Jeremy just laughed and laughed at me. He wouldn't touch my leftovers saying 'they were scary'.  I love just tea-time and everything related! (Pictures forthcoming) If anyone is wanting to go but not go alone, I will go with you!
