I love hosting get-togethers and love cooking for people so it was only natural that hosting a holiday at my house was number 2 on my list of 101 things. I had been putting that one off mainly because we are still living in the apartment and once you get more than 5 people in here you start to feel like sardines. However, with the deadline to my list coming up quickly and not many holidays left, I asked Jeremy's family to come join us for Easter dinner and they agreed in an instant.
Sweet Brynlee has so much personality and a delightful smile! I'm so glad to spoil another niece, especially when she is so darn cute.
I couldn't have asked for a better family to marry into and am so thankful that we are close.

I didn't realize when we first started planning Easter that I would host two in one weekend. But when my uncle Gary passed away a couple days before Easter, it would have been difficult for Gram to have everyone over at her house so I volunteered our place.
Snuggles and books with Jada always make my day!

There were just a small handful of my family that came over and it was just nice to be together. Despite the blow, I poured myself into one of the things I love the most- cooking for my family. It helped. When I don't have anything to say or the answers for why these things happen, but I can feed those I love a  good meal, it's like a small hug of hope. I know that we will make it through since God is with us.
Jada had fun looking for the Easter eggs we had hidden in my living room. We love having Jada around as our entertainment!
