I started seeing plates of cheese appear on the counter with bites taken out of the slices. 

I'd hear the jingle of ornaments and the rustle of branches on my Christmas Tree at odd times.  

There were suddenly more faces in some of my pictures. 

Lots of missing cheese!  

I'd open my cupboard and see a scurry of movement as they hid among my canned goods.

The mice even got into my chocolate!  

There were footprints all over my counter. 

Our house was overrun with mice! These little mice were my 2012 Christmas ornaments that I finished last November (and since November temperatures run above ninety here in Arizona, I say that more than qualifies as #44 Finishing Making My Christmas Ornaments by the

 End of Summer from my list!). My little mice made me happy and turned out so cute.
