Here are a few items off of my 101 goals in 1001 days that don't require me to post any pictures.

#23 File papers in the first two weeks of January. I was able to do this and marked this off my list on January 13, 2013. Not only did I file all the papers from 2012, but I filed the ones from 2011 and even the stragglers from 2010. That was such a huge relief! Filing papers is not my favorite thing to do.

#76 Read EntreLeadership. This took me a better part of a year to finish reading and I closed the final page on 10/23/12. I've enjoyed all of the other Dave Ramsey books that I've read and this was no exception. Dave had a gift of explaining things clearly on a very simple level with loads of common sense and humor thrown in. This book gives the nuts and bolts of how to successfully run a small business and addresses all the areas that a small business owner would have to face. I learned a lot and it will definitely be a book I reread and refer to again when we are ready to start up our own business. I would recommend it to anyone who is in business or wants to be in business (even if you are just in management and have no desire to own your own business).

#74 Advertise with ASBA (Arizona Small Business Association) and #75 advertise with Local First AZ- CANCELED. I've decided to cancel both of these for now due to several reasons. First of all, I find myself very busy with working at the college and contracting with four other agencies. My second reason is that I really don't want to compete with all the agencies here in town for gaining more interpreting clients. I am very thankful for my training as an interpreter and that through that I have been able to make a  good living for almost 10 years now. While I will probably always do some interpreting, I don't think that interpreting is the only thing that I will be doing for a career. I am definitely leaning towards owning a business together with Jeremy. We just aren't sure as of yet what business we will have, we just know that one day we will have something. At that point, I will definitely advertise with ASBA and Local First AZ.
