Work has kicked up a couple of notches over the last couple of weeks, keeping me very busy. I am very thankful for all of the extra hours and opportunities to serve people. Also, I'm thankful for my hubby who is so kind and never complains if things around home don't get done. I just can't believe that it's already November! Time goes so fast and has especially this year for me.

I've been tossing around a few thoughts lately. There are times that I'd like to have a lot of people who read my blog but then that is quickly dismissed as I don't know if my life is really all that interesting to warrant having a large following. This realization brings up another question of why do I write on here anyways. After much thought, I have come to the conclusion that this blog is primarily written for myself. I've always been one to journal and record my thoughts and have filled up numerous journal books over the years.

In college, I had a blog that I now fondly call My College Days and that was mainly a way to share with everyone back home of what I was doing/thinking far away in Arkansas. When I first came home, I didn't see the point to write anymore on that blog. After a while, I felt the need to write again and started this one up mainly after we got married. Also around that time, I stopped writing in my own personal journal. This blog has become my story and I often can spend twenty or thirty minutes (or more) going back and reading old posts and looking at pictures, I love it! It has also become a platform for me to share what God has done in my life. I've decided to continue writing here and writing for myself, mostly. But don't leave! I love having people who read it, especially when they comment!!

However, I would like develop another outlet where I can make a difference in many more people's lives. There is one common theme shared with the popular blogs that I follow, each person found something that they were passionate about and wanted to share it with others and have hence collected a huge following. I'm just trying to figure out what I can share with others and where my niche is. There are several things that I love and am good at; cooking, weddings, small business, family, dealing wisely with money and crafting but I don't have clear direction yet as to which area or how I can best leave an impact. I'm praying that God would guide me to where He wants me and show me what He's given me that I can share with others.

What do you see, is there something that I do that stands out and would make a difference in people's lives if I were to share it on a large scale?
If you have an idea, leave me a comment :-) Remember # 16 from my list of 101 things is to get 17 comments on my blog in one day and that is something I can't do without your help!
