Andrea and Kara are all excited as there are just a few short days left before they both get married. Melissa, Valerie and I are also super excited, which means that there is lots of fun to be had!
It's the future Mrs. Trauger and Mrs. Velsor!!
I took over Andrea's kitchen. Just like I do in any kitchen. We had an extremely small fridge to work with, though thankfully we had a back-up fridge where my parentals, Rob and Naomi were staying.
The laundry room became my pantry. I had planned a week's menu and was the head chef all week long. I loved it!! Seriously, if I could spend every day at home cooking for 6-12 people it would make me so happy!! It was nice too, because I would get up early and clean the kitchen or make breakfast and have a nice hour or two before the first riser would stumble out for a cup of coffee. I enjoyed serving everyone with one of my favorite things, cooking!
I did have lots of help with the cooking and cleaning up. Here Kara and I are testing the red pepper hummus we made for the Girls' Night.
It was fun to spend quite a bit of time with Naomi and Jada throughout the week.
Jada and I match with red fingernails!
And here we are on our Vanetta was such a lovely Mother of the Brides. All three are just glowing, they are so happy. It was so nice to be able to spend a week such wonderful friends! I am so thankful for all of them and the blessings they are to me.
This trip definitely counts as a Girls' Weekend-check! One more thing crossed off the list.
More pictures and stories from the trip to come!
