Sadly Al Capone, the fish, died yesterday. He had it coming as he terrorized and ate the three shrimp we had. The frogs died earlier this summer as a result of Al Capone getting sick. When we tried to medicate the fish to get him back to 100%, M and R couldn't handle the medication and developed dropsy. One frog died before I left on my trip and the second while I was in Africa. We're now pet-less.

Round two looks like we will get two more frogs, a couple shrimp and a couple tetras (nice friendly fish that don't eat shrimp). Maybe the next group will survive for a longer time with no gangster fish in the mix. Now if we can just get all the water plant bulbs to grow.

Brandon's happy that Al is dead, though he thinks that if we are 'in-training' as parents we need a lot more practice on keeping things alive. Thanks cuz. You have a way with words.
