Thanksgiving came early this year. Maybe it didn't, but it sure felt like Thanksgiving was early and I certainly wasn't ready for the start of the holidays to happen so soon.
In the midst of the busyness of working, dealing with my car that's not working, making lists and grocery shopping, I felt the quiet tug of my heart-to be thankful and give thanks. So here's a brief list in order to draw my mind back to what really matters.

In the midst of the busyness of working, dealing with my car that's not working, making lists and grocery shopping, I felt the quiet tug of my heart-to be thankful and give thanks. So here's a brief list in order to draw my mind back to what really matters.
I am thankful for...
- Being so loved by a holy God and that doesn't change no matter what I do
- Having such a great Hubby who loves and cherishes me
- Being so blessed with a lot of wonderful family and being so close with them
- Good friends who are there through thick and thin
- My job and ability to provide for my family
- Being out of debt
- Our peaceful home and everything we have
- Our health
- The missionaries we support who carry the gospel for us into places we can't go
- The sphere of influence that God has placed me in
- The peace and joy that passes all understanding and the strength to face whatever comes my way; all from Jesus
- The answers to the multitude of small requests I make every day
Truly every good gift is from God above and I have been so incredibly blessed, yet how often do I fail to acknowledge or remember the blessings God has given. I pray that I can keep and exhibit a spirit of thanksgiving every day in an ever increasing amount.

Praise God!
