My cousin Brandon has been over at our house studying and trying to get ready for high school every day for the last couple of weeks. He's been using my computer which is good for me because then I am not wasting time on the many things that I do like to waste time on. But then tonight I couldn't handle it any more and when Jer got up to help Brandon with math, I slyly took over his computer chair and computer. Now I can watch my hubby wandering around looking slightly lost without his computer. hehehe
Did I mention that Brandon finally passed me in height? Everyone of my cousins have passed me up in height (I'm the oldest and now the only family member on that side shorter then me is Jada and I don't think that really counts at the moment). Whatever. I guess I am dealing or have to just deal with it.
So I baked a double batch of delicious chocolate oatmeal cookies, half to take with me to San Diego for a girls weekend (more details later!) and half to leave home for Jeremy and Brandon to munch on. I had baked them early in the morning last Thursday. The three of us each had a couple that day. Well Friday, Brandon was home alone studying and we were both out. I came home, asked how his day had gone, and what he had eaten. He proudly claimed he had finished off the rest of the cookies! Good grief! It was 3/4th of one whole batch!!! Good thing I had separated the ones I was going to take to San Diego out of the batch at home.
I guess I need to get used to having a teenage boy around often and start cooking a whole lot more!

Teenage kids are won over by food all the time and so are Slovakians.
