In the midst of trying to get dinner in the crockpot and juggling several other tasks before leaving again for work, Jeremy came up to me and said, "You know your own personal hell would be having nothing to do. Actually it would be not having anything to work on. 'I sentence you to forever with nothing to do...'"
Ha! Most of the things that I do all the time, I do because I have to, not necessarily because I like to do them. Like laundry or dishes, I am always doing them but if I didn't have to, I wouldn't miss them too much if at all. There are plenty of things that I would rather enjoy doing instead, I just can't remember any of them at the moment. :-)
A visiting pastor, who came to our. church recently, said something along the lines that God is glorified when His people find joy in the mundane and do each task as unto the Lord.
I certainly try to do this, knowing that my main ministry is here at home, my family.
