Jeremy took me to the Compass Room last night for dinner (as my Christmas gift). We enjoyed a lovely meal complimented nicely by a gorgeous sunset. Afterwards, we went to a park that we have gone to often over our courtship days to sit and enjoy the evening despite the fact that it was the coldest night this year. It was there that Jeremy proposed and I said yes. He gave me the ring his grandpa had given to his grandma for their 40th anniversary. Jer then took me home where family and friends had gathered for a surprise engagement party. It was a fabulous evening and everyone was thrilled for the two of us. The wedding is set for May 17, 2008.
We've been together for just about three years and now there is a little less than five months until we get married. Very exciting!
